Kathleen Fenner has worked in higher education since 2009 primarily focused on career counseling and employer relationship management. She joined the College of Veterinary Medicine in February, 2023.
Previously, Kathleen was the Director of Career and Academic Advising for the College of Design at NC State and prior to that she was the Associate Director of Career Services at a small private institution where she taught professional development courses and managed the internship program in addition to conducting outreach to employers.
Kathleen is active in the North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers and is serving as President Elect for 2023-24. She earned her Master of Student Personnel Administration in Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011 and is MBTI certified. Contact Kathleen at kamonroe@ncsu.edu.
