As a Clinical Scholar at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Glasgow, Scotland, UK, I worked as a clinician and taught final year veterinary students at the University’s small animal hospital. I subsequently returned to practice in Wales to get exposure and experience in general practice. In 2001 did my M. In 2008, I moved to St. George’s University, where I became Course Director in Veterinary Epidemiology and Veterinary Public Health. I was responsible for the development of the Global Veterinary Health (GVH) Track and in 2015, created the course: Veterinary Public Health: A Global perspective within the GVH Track, that enabled our students to attain Membership of the UK's Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
I have a doctorate in Education (Higher Education) from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom with expertise in Qualitative, Quantitative, Mixed Methods and Action Research methodologies as applied to medical education research.
