I am a small animal veterinarian with 20 years of experience in a range of clinical environments: GP, dedicated emergency, charity and teaching hospital. I joined RUSVM and the director of the teaching hospital in 2014 and in 2023 moved into the Clinical Skills Division. I have an MSc by research which evaluated the teaching of small animal dentistry skills to preclinical veterinary students. My research interests include the teaching, provision of feedback, assessment and remediation of clinical skills in a competency-based curriculum.
