HI, I'm Susan M. Williams and I am a poultry pathologist at the University of Georgia and I work at the Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center (PDRC). I am diplomat in the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. My position at UGA is 40 % Administration, 10% teaching and 50% service. I am the section head for Histopathology at our PDRC Diagnostic Laboratory for the poultry industry and we receive samples from all over the world. I am the Interim Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. I am on the Phi Zeta Society committee. Currently I am the Co-Advisor for VOICE at UGA CVM and along with CVF. I am the Treasurer of the Black Faculty and Staff Organization (BFSO) at the University. I am active in the Athens Community with my church. I help increase the diversity of Veterinary Medicine by participating in VETCAMP, Vet School for a Day, Ready Vet Go and meeting with applicants to discuss UGA CVM as part of the recruitment effort.
