I am Licensed Veterinary Technician in the Veterinary Clinical Skills Laboratory at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. I have been in the veterinary field for 30 years and have experience in small animal emergency and critical care. I am a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with master’s degrees in Comparative Biomedical Sciences and Education with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I am currently pursuing master’s degrees in Health Informatics and Public Health. As a Master of Education student, I studied adult education as it applies to learning, leadership, and organization development. I have spent the last year and a half researching connections to veterinary medicine focusing on staff well-being. As a clinical skills educator, I establish foundational medical competence, initiate exploration, observe individual adaptation, and inspire self-directed learning in an engaging environment.
